
Susan Conda
“Lourdes is thrilled to welcome Ms. Conda and Mr. Polizzi to our Board of Trustees. The University will benefit from their community connections and the expertise they bring in leadership, business, healthcare, philanthropy, art and community development” says Dr. Gawelek.
Susan Conda is a Community Volunteer in the Greater Toledo Area, focusing her efforts on the Arts, Mental Health, Animal Welfare, Education, & Accessibility. Prioritizing collaboration & integration of her passions, Ms. Conda has founded many programs and initiatives including the Hope and Recovery Pets Program (HARP), Meet Me at The Toledo Zoo, Toledo Museum of Art Teen Guides, and the Mazza Museum App at the University of Findlay. She also serves on several boards, and is a member of the Apollo Society, an Art acquisition group at the Toledo Museum of Art.
Ms. Conda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science/Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Arturo Polizzi
Arturo Polizzi currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at ProMedica. In this role, Mr. Polizzi oversees strategic and integrated operations for ProMedica’s three care divisions: Acute/Ambulatory/Provider Care; Senior Care; and Health Plan. Polizzi previously worked for ProMedica from 1998 to 2018 and served in various roles, including chief human resources officer and president of ProMedica’s metro region hospitals. Before returning to ProMedica in 2021, he served as the president & CEO at Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr. Polizzi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, a Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Law, and Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Lourdes University
